For BayWa, its economic success is closely linked to its commitment to taking on responsibility as a social actor beyond its core business and to getting involved in charitable causes. In doing so, BayWa aims to actively shape the transformation to a sustainable society.

The focus here is on imparting knowledge and raising awareness of topics such as nutrition, the environment and energy. The company pools its efforts in the BayWa Foundation, but there are also other projects, particularly at the subsidiaries.
