Hands forming a heart

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

Together, we can create a working world that is richer, fairer and, above all, more welcoming. A world in which everyone can develop their full potential. And that ultimately makes us more successful as a collective - as a company.

Diversity at BayWa

Each of us has the power to stand up for diversity, justice and inclusion in the workplace. It starts with active listening: Each of our colleagues has their own story - and many are happy to share them. It continues with learning: the willingness to recognize and overcome our own prejudices. And it culminates in action: In the courageous commitment to a culture in which each and every individual counts and is valued.

What does Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, or DEI for short, mean?

DEI is an established term in all large - and many smaller - companies. “Diversity” stands for the mosaic of human experiences. “Equity” refers to the fair distribution of opportunities. And “inclusion” means the feeling of really belonging and being able to contribute. Every contribution counts, be it by sharing your own experiences, supporting colleagues or simply celebrating diversity in all its forms.

I am committed to ensuring that the needs and rights of severely disabled employees are always taken into account and promoted within the company. I also support managers and colleagues as a consultant in order to achieve greater inclusion.
